Ah, sorry!! Where has the time gone?! I'm looking at these photos today and they seem so old now :)
Anyway, Oliver graduated kindergarten at the beginning of June. He has progressed so much in this past year and is more than excited to be a first grader. During the summer break he is going to camp two days a week like he did last year and he will be going to soccer camp at the end of July. His reading has come on in leaps and bounds and he can read a lot of things without help now.
Emily is still at preschool two mornings a week. She recently moved rooms and we're hoping the peer pressure helps with the potty training (it eventually did with Oliver when he moved to this room!). She has taken to the new teachers very well and they all say that she is very chatty and happy. She is absolutely convinced that she is going to kindergarten on the bus in September so we'll see how that pans out when the first day of school arrives! I can't believe it's a full two years until she will!!
Both kids are doing well at swimming. Oliver is learning the butterfly at the moment which I remember being so difficult but he is coming on well. Emily still seems to prefer floating rather than actually moving in the water but slowly she is getting it. She certainly knows what to do, it's just a case of putting it into action!!!
Summer was slow to arrive but we are right in it now with some super hot temps. I know it's the same in the UK so I am grateful for my air con!!!
We are in the midst of preparing for Oliver's 6th birthday. He's decided on a bounce house party again - maybe the last time?
